IPMD Internship Program Overview
IPMD’s state of arts internship programs will benefit all students to learn, develop and deploy all the necessary technologies and solutions for the most challenging problems of today to create a better world tomorrow. The specific goals of the programs are eliminating all diseases and unexpected events such as medical emergencies, school bullying, and crimes to emancipate all humans from the suffering caused by these extremely horrible incidents so that humans can keep up their own dignity.
In order to join IPMD, one must be able to share its vision & goals and be able to commit at least 480 hours of your time toward the internship program. Currently, the program is a non-paid program, to begin with. However, there may be compensation available when the company has a budget. Also after the internship program, you have the opportunity to join the executive partner program.
IPMD Internship Programs are qualified for the San Jose State University, Esade School of Business, and UC Berkeley Independent Research Course Credits such as IB 99/199, MCB 99/199, STAT 199, Econ 197, PP199, Cog Sci 197, PH 297, DS 97/197 and CS 97/197.

"Interning at IPMD was by far one of the most eye-opening experiences for a pre-med student. I joined the company as an undergraduate student at UC Berkeley with dreams of attending medical school. At the time, I was searching for research opportunities related to medicine, so I joined as a Biomedical Research Intern and the Alzheimer’s Expert. My main tasks were to teach M how to interact and communicate with patients with Alzheimer’s disease. Through this experience, I combined my passion for patients with Alzheimer’s disease with my desire to advance care for patients. Teaching M how to interact with patients allowed me to reflect upon my own skills in communicating with those in need. The innovative lens and skills that I gained in my internship at IPMD provided me with invaluable experience and tools that I utilize as a medical student today. Those skills also enabled me to gain the confidence and ability to become the CEO of the nation’s largest youth-based Alzheimer’s non-profit organization during my gap years. "I started as an artificial intelligence finance intern at IPMD. I worked closely with Min to develop a new project: Project ASTAI (Automated Stock Trading AI), developing an AI-based financial advice algorithm capable of performing active portfolio management automatically. Starting a new project was never easy, but everything became attainable with Min's encouragement, resources, and guidance. I got to learn valuable hands-on knowledge about the financial market and develop many different analysis parameters for the algorithm. I quickly grew as a leader and expanded the team with many talented data scientists, data scientists, and trading experts. "It was such a great experience interning at IPMD, Min and his team are extremely supportive and passionate. I spent the first few weeks collecting, examining, and training the data. And then I was assigned to join several teams. One was responsible for building a chatbot and researching for a more human-like chatbot. Besides that, I was also the leader of another study group, which lead the team to study Google Dialog Flow and Nvidia’s Video Analytics Technic course. "Working in IPMD was a great experience. It offered me the opportunities to enhance my full-stack development and cloud-based application development skills. In IPMD, I worked with Min and other teammates, who are nice, patient, and passionate. I was responsible for the full-stack development of the ASTAI project, an artificial intelligence stock trading system. I built its website, developed the trading system with my teammates, and deployed it on AWS. During the internship, with IPMD’s vast resources in AWS, I was able to learn the industry-leading cloud computing technologies and utilize them to improve the project. At the end of the internship, I learned a lot about AWS and was able to design a monitoring system with it for our project.
